Rejoice always

Rejoice in the Lord always. Either way, it does not say rejoice in people, jobs, friends, clothes, cars, houses, position, fame or fortune. It does not say rejoice in our circumstances, it says, “rejoice in the Lord!” meaning our joy is in one place alone and that is on God. When our joy is truly in Jesus, there is a contentment and peace that is indescribable and not understandable. When we come to the place in our lives and realize things change, people change. God is the only one that cannot change – – Glory! So don’t get bent out of shape in your trials, rejoice in the ONE who knows how to sanctify us and make us whole and Holy. Rejoice knowing God loves you. Rejoice that He is always faithful and true to His Word and character and consistent in all He is and does. This is why we can “always” ..Rejoice in the Lord always: I will say it again: REJOICE!! Philippians 4:4. AMEN.

Letting go

“To let go doesn’t mean to stop caring;
It means I can’t do it for someone else.
To let go is not to cut myself off…
It’s the realization that I can’t control another…
To let go is not to enable,
but to allow learning from natural consequences.
To let go is to admit powerlessness,
which means the outcome is not in my hands.
To let go is not to try and change or blame another,
I can only change myself.
To let go is not to care for, but to care about.
To let go is not to fix, but to be supportive.
To let go is not to judge,
but to allow another to be a human being.
To let go is not to be in the middle arranging all the outcomes,
but to allow others to affect their own outcomes.
To let go is not to be protective,
It is to permit another to face reality.
To let go is not to deny, but to accept.
To let go is not to nag, scold, or argue,
but to search out my own shortcomings and correct them.
To let go is not to adjust everything to my desires,
but to take each day as it comes and cherish the moment.
To let go is not to criticize and regulate anyone,
but to try to become what I dream I can be.
To let go is not to regret the past,
but to grow and live for the future.
To let go is to fear less and love more.”

If God is in it, no amount of lack of support can stop it

Their support is minimum, their praise is minimum and their acknowledgement of you is minimum. Sometimes it takes a little while for you to recognize that those that ‘claim’ to have your corner are in actual fact at the side walk hoping for your downfall. Of course, they do ‘claim’ to want to see you do good but they hope you don’t become better than them. And that is coming from the spirit behind the person which is envy and jealous and being used by the devil to carry on  his conniving ways.
(Genesis 37:12-28) Joseph was one of the twelve sons of Jacob and he was his favorite because he was the son of his old age and the first child by his beloved wife, Rachel.

His brothers hated him and never spoke a kind word to him. Jacob made his son Joseph a richly ornamented robe. In that time, it wasn’t uncommon to have a robe or clock. Robes were used not only for warmth but also to bundle up belongings for trips, to wrap babies, to sit on or even serve as security for a loan. The robe became the prove that Jacob’s favoritism toward Joseph.
One day Joseph had a vision and when he told his brothers, they hated him even more. They couldn’t imagine Joseph’s vision coming to pass, the possibility of him being their ruler didn’t sit well with them. They became jealous that they end up doing the unspeakable, they went ahead and sold him into slavery.
Jealous is a sin, it is tyrannical and can lead to serious dangers. It is a dangerous sword that can harm your relationships, it can even kill. Jealousy drove the brother to do evil act against their own brother. Sometimes you don’t have to share your vision with just anybody. Not everyone wants to celebrate with you even if those who are in your inner circle, be careful. The brothers never wanted to be part of his success, they never wanted to support or encourage Joseph. No matter how unfair it sounds the good news is; that kind of behavior of people towards you, develops a strong character in you and gets you deep in wisdom. Don’t allow lack of support from some people to stop you to pursue what God placed in you. If God is in it, nobody can stop it. Be encouraged!

Psalm 27:1 “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked came against me to eat up my flesh, my enemies and foes, they stumbled and fell. Though an army should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war should rise against me, in this I will be confident.”

2 Corinthians 9:8-11 “And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, have an abundance for every good work.
