God’s Word is good enough!

“Lord Your Word is good enough for me” hallelujah! This is what came to my mind this morning. No matter what is happening in front of you or behind you. No matter what the circumstances surrounding you…God’s Word is good enough for you.

Remember the Centurion whose servant was sick and ready to die? Almost immediately when the Centurion had sent elders of the Jews to Jesus for Him to come heal his servant, the Centurion sent words back to Jesus saying, “Lord, do not trouble Yourself, for I do not deserve to have you come under my roof……..but say the word, and my servant will be healed” Luke 7:1-9 hallelujah! Faith in God always produces results. The Word of God is good enough for you and I.  Faith in the Word of God always produces results.

When Jesus heard the words of the Centurion He marvelled at his faith and turned to those that followed Him and said, “…I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.” And by the time the messengers got back to the Centurion’s house, they found the hitherto sick servant perfectly healed. The Centurion had faith that when Jesus says a Word, it will manifest.

This is the faith we need to develop in God’s Word. Whatever you are looking for, it is found in the Word.

 

God will show up!

The enemy may be bringing everything he has against you. Hurt after hurt. Calamity after calamity. Distress after distress. And while it feels as though you are not going to make it, your faith will. Your faith will see you through every single trial. You may feel the effects of the fire right now and the heaviness may be weighing on you, but God will make sure your faith will remain in tact.

 Your faith is indeed more precious than gold that cannot stand the heat. It melts. But not you. Just when you think you are done and cannot take anymore, Jesus shows up in the fire. He shows up in your situation and there is praise, honor, and glory. It’s not that He wasn’t there at the beginning with you, He was there all along, but He reveals Himself so that you can see that He is with you.

When He said He will never leave you nor forsake you, He meant it. God hasn’t abandoned you and He hasn’t left your side. He is right there to help your faith. Every Word of God strengthens your faith, so do not close your Bible now. It’s not time to die, not in the fire. Not like this. Live for God. Endure to the end.Persevere by faith. You can do it. Watch God turn what the enemy has meant for your bad around for your glorious good. AMEN.

Mustard seed (Faith)

Having “mustard seed faith” does not mean the size or amount. Mustard seeds are small, but very resilient. They have the ability to grow in spite of the condition of the land it is deposited into; they don’t need much soil to grow and neither do they need a great deal of moisture or sunshine to flourish. We should be just as resilient and exercise our faith no matter the conditions in our lives. My brothers and sisters, it only takes ONE ACT OF FAITH to turn the situations and circumstances around. If we must cry out: “Son of David, don’t pass me by”; or if we have to go and dip in the Jordan River seven times. Let’s do what needs to be done by faith through obedience and determination. Paul admonished us this is the only way we are going to please God. Pressing forward in faith and obedience, again, causes a reward to be given to the diligent seeker.
Don’t stop! Don’t be discouraged! Don’t succumb to the illusion being presented. Be resilient like the mustard seed; and move forward hallelujah

 

Rejoice always

Rejoice in the Lord always. Either way, it does not say rejoice in people, jobs, friends, clothes, cars, houses, position, fame or fortune. It does not say rejoice in our circumstances, it says, “rejoice in the Lord!” meaning our joy is in one place alone and that is on God. When our joy is truly in Jesus, there is a contentment and peace that is indescribable and not understandable. When we come to the place in our lives and realize things change, people change. God is the only one that cannot change – – Glory! So don’t get bent out of shape in your trials, rejoice in the ONE who knows how to sanctify us and make us whole and Holy. Rejoice knowing God loves you. Rejoice that He is always faithful and true to His Word and character and consistent in all He is and does. This is why we can “always” ..Rejoice in the Lord always: I will say it again: REJOICE!! Philippians 4:4. AMEN.
